About

Welcome to iniRecipes — a home cooking blog built by real people who genuinely love food, spend too much time in the kitchen, and believe that a great meal doesn’t have to be complicated.

We started this site with one simple idea: everyday home cooks deserve recipes that actually work. Not the kind that look beautiful in a photoshoot but fall apart in a real kitchen. The kind you can make on a Tuesday night after a long day, serve to the people you love, and feel proud of.

Who We Are

iniRecipes is run by three home cooks — Riley, Jas, and Elias — each with their own corner of the kitchen and their own cooking story.

Riley is the heart of the blog and the one who started it all. She learned to cook standing on a step stool beside her grandmother, where Sunday mornings always smelled like cinnamon and something slow-cooking on the stove. Those memories shape everything she makes. Riley focuses on cozy breakfasts, baked casseroles, and comfort dinners that bring people to the table — and keep them there. She tests every recipe herself, multiple times, and only publishes it when it genuinely makes her happy to eat.

Jas is our weeknight dinner specialist. She’s been cooking since she was old enough to reach the stove, and her obsession is bold flavour with minimal effort. One pan, one pot, done — that’s her philosophy. Most of her recipes started as tired Tuesday experiments that somehow turned into the meals her family requests on repeat. If a dish takes longer than 45 minutes or dirties more than two pans, Jas is already looking for a shortcut.

Elias grew up eating the kind of food that never wins beauty contests but always clears the table — cheesy casseroles, skillet pasta, hearty stews that stretch to feed six people from one pan. He’s spent years collecting, testing, and quietly modernising classic American comfort food recipes so they work with today’s schedules and today’s kitchens. If your parents or grandparents made it, there’s a good chance Elias has a version of it here.

How We Work

Every recipe on iniRecipes is made in a real home kitchen — not a professional test kitchen, not a studio. We use ordinary equipment, standard supermarket ingredients, and actual human taste buds.

Before anything goes on the site, we cook it. Then we eat it. Then we usually cook it again to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. We note what went wrong, what could be better, and what made us reach for seconds. Only then does it become a recipe on this site.

We don’t publish content for the sake of posting. We’d rather have 30 recipes you can trust than 300 you have to second-guess.

What You’ll Find Here

iniRecipes covers three categories of home cooking:

Breakfast & Brunch — from quick weekday eggs to indulgent weekend bakes, these are the recipes that make mornings worth getting up for.

Main Course — weeknight dinners, one-pot meals, pasta, chicken, slow-cooked comfort food. The recipes you’ll make on rotation for years.

Desserts — satisfying sweets that don’t require a pastry degree. Mostly chocolate. No apologies.
